Mane Culture Barber Shop and Health professionals across London will be bringing people together to build strong relationships and talk about health issues that are sometimes swept under the carpet. 

Hosted by: Shane Wallace 
Master Mind Champion 2004 and Star of ITV's the Chase

This is the second year running this event within the community which is front lined by different NHS professional speakers on the day to stop the stigmatisation but also raise more awareness of where help and advice can be given.

ERROL MCKELLAR

Discussing Prostate Cancer 
Mr. Mckellar is the founder of the Errol Mckellar Foundation. 

LYNDON WISSART

Discussing Type 2 Diabetes
Mr. Wissart is the Author of The Inspired Diabetic. 

STANLEY MARRAST

Discussing Sickle Cell 
Mr. Marrast is a dedicated Sickle Cell Awareness Campaigner. 
There will also be access to additional Health support services as our Local GP, DR, Jude Mills will be in attendance to give further medical advice and also to do simple blood pressure checks etc.

The Programme

Doors open at 12am

13:05-13:40 - PROSTRATE CANCER by Errol Mckellar – (Errol Mckellar Foundation)
13:40-13:50 (10 minutes for Q&A)

13:50 – 14:20- Type 2 Diabetes by Lyndon Wissart– (The Inspirational Diabetic)
14:00-14:30 (10 minutes Q&A)

14:30 – 15:00- Sickle Cell Awareness Campaigner by Stanley Marrast 
15:00- 15:10 (10 minutes Q&A)

Please note that on the day the event will be filmed by the BBC and another media company as well as coverage from the Voice newspapers. The Barber shop has limited seating & standing space so this event will be "Ticket only" and on a  first come first served bases. There will be light refreshments supplied by Mane Culture on the day with all Donations collected going to the promoted Charities on the day.
